MeMadeMay 2019 Day 25

“MeMadeMay (2019) day 25. I actually wore the same dress from May 16, but you get an assortment of unrelated photos because A) I had a photoshoot today (that’s photo 1) and B) it’s my very favorite, very dead, dirty old man’s birthday today. Bennett Cerf was born 121 years ago, and I love him so much, I have the Random House logo tattooed on my wrist. Photo 2 is from his memoir, At Random. Photo 3 is obviously my wrist. Ahh, Schrodinger’s cheat day. Not actually a cheat day, because I did wear my own stuff. Not actually a cheat day because I did take photos of myself that day. Cheat day because I took photos of myself not wearing the clothes I made that day. That’s the price you pay when you only own like 15 items of clothing you made, and you’re really starting to get sick of taking pictures of the same thing.

However, I evidently cannot let the 25th of May pass without pointing out that it is the birthday of my very favorite, very dead, dirty old man, Bennett Cerf.

(For the record, my very favorite, very not-dead, dirty old man is Kenneth. My very favorite, very not-dead, very not-dirty old man is John Lodge. Yes, I have put substantially too much thought into this.)
